The FACT Act, or as we like to call it, the "Alternative FACT" Act, would harm asbestos victims and their families. The bill passed out of the House Judiciary Committee and was then combined with another bill, H.R. 985, which would severely limit class action lawsuits. This combined bill passed the House on March 9, 2017.
