Wednesday, March 16, 2016

In a study, published in the January 2016 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, “researchers looked at more than 66,000 malpractice claims paid against 54,000 physicians nationwide between 2005 and 2014.” They found that just “1 percent of doctors are linked to nearly one-third of all paid malpractice claims,” and “the biggest predictor of all for claim-prone doctors was whether they'd had a prior claim.”
